Two Greatest Commandments
Jesus had gotten together with the Pharisees, one of them who was an expert in the law inquired of him. Teacher what is the greatest commandments in the law. Jesus replied; "Love the lord your God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul." This is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like it. Love your neighbors as yourself, all the laws and the prophets hang on these two commanments." Ultimately Jesus's message here is clear if you follow theses two commandments you will keep the others. More specifically the bible goes on to say "That God is light and in him is no darkness, if we say we have fellowship with him yet continue to walk in darkeness we are a liar and the truth is not in us." To love God is to obey his commandments. All governments and authorities are put in place by God, after all he is the creater of the earth and the universe.
