My Brother's keeper
I have often wondered what happens to human beings that makes them hate each other. We live in a world where some of the most gruesome crimes know to man have been committed out of hate. We have seen this play out since the beginning of time. The first documented case of murder transpired when Cain Slayed Able. As recorded in the bible in the book of genesis Cain and Able were the firstborn sons of Adam and Eve. Cain was a farmer of crops and Able was a Shepard of sheep. When they offered up their sacrificial offering to God Cains offering was rejected and Ables offering God accepted. The ending conflict that arose in Cain resulted in him killing his brother. 9Then the Lord said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?""I know not," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?"
