Unexpected Tragedy
Today we all woke up to the tragic news of the passing of an icon, the lengendary and beautiful Whitney Houston. Tomorrow is not promised to any of us, The bible says to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord Rest In peace Whitney. I am reminded of the train of thought why do bad things happen to good people? One simple biblical account is what happened with the fall of mankind. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden by eating the apple from the tree of knowledge, they released sin, sickness, death and a host of other earthly curses against all of humanity. We have all suffered ever since. In the community that I live in a member of the religious community who was considered one of our pillars was taken from us unexpectedly. I suppose if he had been victimized by some long illness where we had time to prepare for his death, we could have been better prepared.
