Spritual Awaking
As we examine the world that we live in, to see or experience suffering is pretty much the norm. It is unfortunate but that is the reality of the world we live in. I have often thought what can we do about our circumstance to make a difference? We can do as the apostle Paul suggested and fight the good fight. So what exactly is the good fight and how do we do it? I believe it has to be done through spiritaul awaking. In the words of William Booth; "While women weep as they do now I will fight, While children go hungry as they do now, I will fight, while men go to prison as they do now, in and out, in and out, I will fight. \While there is a drunkard left, while there is is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one poor lost soul, without the light of God, I'll fight, I'll fight to the very end." I might add that most of these conditions are the direct result of our carnel nature, and it knows no boundaries as it seeks to satisfy its lusts and desires....
